Friends of St Mary’s
The Friends of St Mary’s RC primary school is a wonderfully supported group. It brings together a group of parents, teachers and friends who aim to support the school in as many ways as possible. The group aim to meet at least once every term to set out plans to raise money for the school. The committee currently has 2 members and always welcome new members with open arms! In addition to the core members who attend meetings and help to organise events we are grateful for other parents are unable to commit to meetings and the organisation of events but are happy to help out as and when they are needed.
Throughout the year, St Mary’s RC primary school organise a number of events to raise funds; all of this money is put back into the school to enrich the pupils’ education and create enjoyable experiences for them. Events we have previously organised are:

- Halloween Discos
- Easter Fairs
- Summer fairs
- Cake stalls
- Raffles
- Easter Hampers
- Cook books
- Photography competitions
