Year 4 – Virtual Learning Week 10

Hello Year 4 and welcome to week 10 of our virtual learning!

I know you will all be ready for this week’s home learning. Please keep sharing all of your brilliant work and updates on ClassDojos, it is super to see how hard you are working.
There a range of activities to give you chance to explore skills in different ways. Remember you can write your answers in your home-school book or use an electronic device to record your work where you can.

  • Times table practise – keep using your booklets to practise your times tables and don’t forget to challenge me to a RockSlam on TTRockstars 😀

English

  • Creative writing based on our Wellbeing focus book – “The Colour Monster” by Anna Llenas’.
  • SPaG – An excellent feature of our book this week is similes. Recap your understanding of how similies are used from MC Grammar so you can use them in your own writing. Watch/sing with this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_1JE12xa18

Religious Education

In our topic ‘God’s People’ we are going to look at extraordinary people in the world and explore how their actions could inspire us, this week we are going to look at who inspires you in your life.

TopicWorld Foods

This week’s focus is our local area in Richmond, North Yorkshire. I’m looking forward to seeing what creations you make/design!

Science

This week we are going to have a look at the digestive system. There are some really great videos that really help us to understand how our digestive system works/digests the food that we eat.

Mental Health and Wellbeing

A crucial part to learning is looking after our mental health and wellbeing. Over the next few weeks we are going to look at different ways to look after our wellbeing. This week our focus is ‘Take Notice’. There are some suggested activities on our weekly Wellbeing mood board that you can pick and explore this important step of wellbeing with someone at home.

Year 4 – Virtual Learning Week 12

Hello!

Welcome to the final Virtual Learning Pack before the well-deserved summer holidays.  We have put together a few fun activities to celebrate all that we have achieved this school year.  Choose from the activities listed and add them to your Class Dojo portfolio to share with your teachers.
